I was born and raised in Marianna, Fl. by my wonderful parents, James and Catherine Lash. I have two brothers, Robert A. Lash and Terry M. Lash, both younger. I am currently married to Ronnie Lollie from Grand Ridge, FL. and have two beautiful children, Christy Nicole Lollie who graduated from MHS in 1992 and Michael Keegan Lollie who graduated from GRHS in 1996. I have five amazing grandchildren, Raigan, Abbie, Bentley, Bryce, and Gracie, who are the absolute apples of my eye.

In 1984 I was hired as a Paraprofessional at Grand Ridge High School. During my employment there, I was given the opportunity to work with ESE special needs children and have loved it ever since. I quickly learned there was a definite need in this area of education and devoloped a passion for it like no other. In 2001, with much thought, I tranferred to Jackson Alternative School to expand my desire to help and teach students with disabilities and difficulties. Within the first 4 years at JAS, I decided to return to college and get my degree in Elementary and ESE Education so that I might be able to do even more for my students. Children are my life and I strive each day to reach each and every child in one way or another. I love my job, my students, my paraprofessionals, and the wonderful staff that support me everyday. I am proud to be a teacher for the Jackson County School Board, and love my job at Jackson Alternative School.
